Maria Meek

Maria Meek is a proud immigrant from Guayaquil, Ecuador. She was raised in Fort Myers, FL and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Maria continued her education with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). Her experience as a registered nurse consists of 3 years as pediatric surgical nurse at UF Health Shand’s Children’s Hospital and 3 years as a pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit nurse at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. She plans to make Jacksonville her forever home with her husband, Caleb, daughter, Mirabel and dog, Finn. Her passions include Taylor Swift, watching football, romcoms, traveling, and reading.
